Maya and Ser Chief’s Wedding Set to Make PH TV History

November 7, 2013 by
The highly-anticipated “Fairytale Wedding of the Year” of Maya (Jodi Sta. Maria) and Ser Chief (Richard Yap) is set to make Philippine television history as the longest-airing wedding ceremony in a TV series.
Richard Maya
According to Ginny Ocampo, business unit head of “Be Careful With My Heart,” TV viewers will surely feel that they are part of the historical wedding on November 15 (Friday) because they will continuously shoot the whole ceremony.
“Just like an actual wedding coverage, TV viewers will feel the spirit and solemnity of the occasion because we will shoot continuously, without cuts,” explained Ginny.
Part of the simple yet elegant and classy ‘fairytale wedding of the year’ are Maya’s Nanay Teresita (Sylvia Sanchez) and elder sister Kute (Aiza Seguerra), and Richard’s parents Don Roberto (Noel Trinidad) and Doña Esmeralda (Marissa Delgado). Paring as Best Man and Maid of Honor are Luke (Jerome Ponce) and Nikki (Janella Salvador), the Bride’s Maid will be Richard’s bestfriend Rafi (Maricar Reyes), while the Groom’s Man will be Ryan (Cris Villanueva). Maya’s nephew Cho (JM Ibanez) will walk down the aisle as Coin and Ring Bearer, while Richard’s youngest child Abby (Mutya Orquia) will be the Flower Girl.
Completing the secondary sponsors are Doris (Tart Carlos), Sabel (Vivieka Ravanes), Joma (Micah Muñoz), Emman (Nathan Lopez) and Simon (Paul Jake Castillo). Among the principal sponsors are Maya’s trainer at Time Airways Ms. Belmonte (Pinky Amador) and the Lim family’s ‘mayordoma’ Manang Fe (Gloria Sevilla).
Unlike other TV series that conclude with the wedding of the lead stars, “Be Careful With My Heart” marks a new beginning with Maya and Richard’s marriage. As Jodi and Richard previously revealed, there are still more romantic moments that TV viewers should watch out for after the wedding, including their honeymoon in Japan.
“After the wedding, a new chapter starts in the lives of Richard and Maya as husband and wife,” said Jodi.
Don’t miss Maya and Ser Chief’s “Fairytale Wedding of the Year” on November 15, 11:45am, on ABS-CBN. Also, watch out for “Richard-Maya Fairytale Wedding of the Year Special” that will be aired in “Sunday’s Best” on November 24. The TV special will showcase the wedding; after-wedding party; behind-the-scene footages before, during and after the ceremonies; and other exclusive information about the much-awaited event of the year.
