iGMA: MARIAN IS THE SOLE QUEEN OF PRIME TIME!
In  Mega Manila which comprises 58 percent of total television households  nationwide, Amaya immediately edged out competition with an average  household share of 35.7 percent (for the period of May 30 to June 10  based on overnight ratings data), 3.5 percentage points and 4.0  percentage points higher than ABS-CBN's Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin 32.2  percent and Guns and Roses 31.7 percent, respectively.
For the same period in Total Urban  Luzon, Amaya scored 35.1 percent, up by 1.9 percentage points and 3.3  percentage points against ABS-CBN's Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin 33.2  percent and Guns and Roses 31.8%, respectively.
Amaya, portrayed by Kapuso  Network's Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, has remained as one of the  favorite primetime soaps on the Telebabad block. The original drama  series also features a cast of the country's most bankable artists  including two of the industry's most desired leading men: Sid Lucero as  Bagani and Mikael Daez as Lumad.
The epic series is expected to  set even higher ratings on the coming days especially when Amaya, whose  heart is filled with rage and revenge against her stepmother Dian  Lamitan (Gina Alajar), discovers that the prince she dearly loves is the  son of the man responsible for her father's death.
After being turned into a slave  (uripon), Amaya becomes totally helpless under the abuse of Lamitan as  well as her stepsister Marikit (Rochelle Pangilinan).
Will Amaya finally close her  heart to Bagani and turn vindictive towards the man who captured her  heart? Will Bagani defy his father's will, save Amaya and her people  from slavery?
